Undisclosed Case 1, Cornwall

This beautiful Grade II Listed Victorian Townhouse formerly run as a sweet shop with living accommodation stands in a busy part of Liskeard. However, in recent years, it has been completely restored and modernised whilst still retaining the original character of the building.
We started our investigation around 9:30pm with our walkthrough baseline check, by this i mean we record each rooms ambient air temperature, check for EMF (electromagnetic field) irregularities which are caused by electrical appliances, house wiring sockets, hidden wiring in the walls and floors, lights, etc. We had noticed it was extremely windy outside and with this property being situated in a very built up area the noise of the wind and traffic could be heard inside. So with this in mind and all our readings completed it was lights out and showtime.
The property consists of three levels, so we decided to start our investigation on the 2nd floor the two attic bedrooms. We split into two groups of two to keep any evidence contamination to a minimum, whilst group 1 went to the attic bedrooms, group 2 stayed quietly observing from the command room via the night vision cctv cameras.
Group 1 started with a EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomena) session. It is the process of recording audio on analog or digital recorders and hearing unexplained voices and sounds on playback. They were asking the usual questions to try and make contact or get a response, as did group 2 when it was their turn.
The investigation seemed very quiet with nothing captured on video or our night vision camera's, so we decided to end our investigation around 00:30am. We went over all the audio recordings from the attic bedrooms and although we can clearly hear a human type voice, what it is saying in respect to the question being asked was unclear and we had to put it down to the windy weather conditions outside.
